December with Clifford Brown
Last time I wrote about that we are back in the future, when using 4-4 alpha. So, now is December and we’ve got brand new WordPress 4.4 version named after Clifford Brown. And we’ve got new theme, Twenty Sixteen as you may get used to naming traditions since theme Twenty ten. What’s new? A lot, but most important thing is REST API in the core of the WordPress. That would be a mile stone, you’ll remember those words.

Back to the future
Today I downloaded latest nightly build of the WordPress CMS. It is 4.4-alpha-35015 and it works pretty well. Of course I’m using it locally for testing purposes. So, it’s December here!

Security and Maintenance Release
Hi folks, there is new security and maintenance release of the WordPress signed 4.3.1. It should install automatically but if it doesn’t, do not wait any second and do it yourself.

Yeah, I know, I should titled it as “WordPress 4.3” or something similar. Well, now you know, 4.3 is official and you may install it worldwide. I tested my plugins and themes a long time ago, so I’m calm and tranquil. And of course, don’t be a fool, update!

It’s still 4.2… 4.2.4
We are still waiting for WP 4.3 and in a meantime, we’ve got new security release marked 4.2.4. This version is fixing four bugs and six security issues. If you didn’t set up your WordPress installation for autoupdating, please make sure you will install this release.

WordPress 4.3 Release Candidate
Just a week ago I wrote about WordPress 4.3 beta 4 and here we are – after more than 100 changes, there is first Release Candidate version available. Stable version of the WordPress 4.3 is planned on 18th August. Hope they will do that! Test your plugins and themes and have fun!

Security and Maintenance Release
Sites that support automatic updates should be already updated, however if not, please update your WordPress to 4.2.3. Of course, we just can’t wait to see 4.3, however 4.2.2 is affected by a cross-site scripting vulnerability so 4.2.3 is a must.

WordPress 4.3 Beta 3 is available
Yesterday WordPress team announced WordPress 4.3 beta 3 version available. There are more than 140 changes in the last week, a lot of bug fixes and some new things – like Site Icon. It looks good and I just can’t wait to get 4.3 stable.

WordPress 4.3 Beta 2
Since yesterday, there is a new beta (2) of WordPress 4.3 available. It looks really great, I use nightly build on my local server to test the newest with my plugins and themes. Of course it is not recommended to run it live, however it is really great!
